Bio
Nicole Morris brings nearly two decades of service to the City of Philadelphia, including 15 years in the Law Department’s Labor & Employment Unit, where she provided legal and HR counsel, defended the City in litigation, and led a team of attorneys and support staff. In her current role, she supports the Chief Human Resources Officer and the deputy leadership team in designing and advancing a strategic HR vision that strengthens the delivery of programs and services across City departments.

A proud alumna of the University of Maryland and Temple Law School, Nicole is a Bucks County native who has called Center City Philadelphia home since 1998. Outside of work, she enjoys being a mom to her two daughters, Avery and Blake, and spending time with them and her husband, Drew—whether at Phillies games, at the lake, or relaxing on the couch.

Responsibilities
Oversees ADA/FMLA coordination, the Employee Medical Evaluation Unit, and cross-departmental HR alignment efforts. Leads HR University, CHRO Circle, policy and compliance initiatives, and citywide HR communications.
