BIO

Candi Blossom Jones is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Human Resources. Prior to this role, Candi served as the First Deputy Director for the Office of Human Resources and has built a 13-year career with the City of Philadelphia. She serves as the executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management for the City’s 30,000-person workforce, advancing both Mayoral priorities and those of the Civil Service Commission.

Candi has a strong interest in diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and building pathways to meaningful and long-term government careers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is certified by both SHRM and HRCI, is a Certified Compensation Professional, and holds the Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certification from Cornell University. Most importantly, Candi is the proud parent of an amazing 13-year-old student-athlete, Langston, and a newborn, Cali.
